An impromptu drive can often lead to hidden gems that you elsewise wouldn’t know existed within your local environment. Cumbernauld seems to have an abundance of wild bluebells this year. I’m unaware if the conditions are more favourable this year or not but there is hundreds of bluebells popping up in woodland around our town. A sure sign that Spring has finally sprung!
It is one of my most favourite time of year, especially in regards to outdoor photography. BUT, it is very important that we are curteous to the environment. Bluebells are a very fragile flower and we must not trample all over them. Abide by the outdoor code at all times. The above image displays the contrast in colours and how life can thrive when the conditions are accurate.
Bluebells give an absolutely magnificent backdrop to portraits and I aim to at least get my children photographed in either bluebells or poppies each year.
I love how much the bluebells make the image pop.
I adore these sets of images and plan on getting them printed BIG!
